Hey guys, to those of you who came can you give your honest opinion of what could be improved? We gotta kinda messed up by the projectors being a pain, but we will fix that for next time by broadcasting from my computer. Any ideas for things we could do? Also the rest of the viewing parties will emphasize watching the game because of how important they will be/how good they will be.

I mean it works the way it is, just might be a bit less hectic if we tried something like that. As long as it's optional, I'd hate to discourage people from coming.

To be perfectly honest, I was unsure. I am a freshman and therefore didn't know too many people. I ended playing with a few but that was when the numbers went down significantly. So, maybe making it a little bit more newbie (to the club) friendly?

So, maybe making it a little bit more newbie (to the club) friendly? 100% agree. I think a lot of people knew a few others and stuck in groups. We tried to fix that with in houses, but we weren't too organized on that front. I think with future events where games are played we will try to get a list going of people who want to play on a board and let people move laptops around to sit by their new teammates. Maybe randomize teams. We have like 3-4 hours before finals where we have the rooms and can hold a mini tourney and let everyone meet new people. Also all of the veteran esports peeps should try to be including, asking people to play, as well as sitting by new people while the games are happening. I think you will find next event to be more organized/including to newer folks |

I agree on it being a bit tough for new people to meet others with it spread out so much, but maybe that was just me. :\ |

Also we will focus more on desk arrangement next time, we also have more space next time. How do you like the idea of making random League teams and having them play in a tourney? I feel like that helps a bit |

focus on your studies don't be playing games noob...no but seriously don't be afraid to ask people. There are a lot of socially awkward nerds around so finding people to play with or organize something can feel daunting. But, sometimes do what I do-- YOLO.

I'll gladly help out new people and force them to mod Facebook groups and play video games with my newly-found peers.
Frrrl tho:
-I liked that we were able to reserve so much room for this. Lets people know WE DON'T MESS AROUND WHEN IT COMES TO SPECTATING
-agreeing on food collab ideas, the cookie/sonic trip after was cool except it ended up being like 2 people loool
-It's nice to actually meet people since we're used to constantly talking to people through an online chat of some kind, just saying :3
-Maybe next time we can get one/a few informal tournaments going? I know a lot of us can't watch people play for a while without wanting to play ourselves!
-cookie clicker is soul devouring

I saw a ton of people look really interested as they walked by in the 40 people watching video games on a screen. That is always fun. And meeting people after online stuff is hilarious in many ways. I finally meet Collin and am like "lol thats not an internet voice". Also in terms of food, the rest of the events will be well after dinner time, but I could be bothered to bring another cookie cake. -Maybe next time we can get one/a few informal tournaments going? I know a lot of us can't watch people play for a while without wanting to play ourselves! Oh we will totally do this. Since we have the big room for the next two events we can use the back of said room as a tournament area and the front as spectating. Or we could use the smaller rooms for tourneys.
